There is no specific order for credits, do what u wish with them, but heres a rough guideline.

(in brackets indicates who im reffering too)

    =START CREDITS=

    Impact Entertainment Presents (distributor)
An Anarchy Pictures Production (the people who actually filmed/made it)
A Mark Lovegrove Film (the guy that wrote/directed it)
    Chris Gilbert (lead role)
    Tony Sefton
    Emma Roids
and Phil MaCrack as "Bob" (they always do that)

Then, you can go onto some of the IMPORTANT credits if you wish at the start, like
    WRITER
    MUSICIAN
    EDITOR
    COSTUME
    PRODUCER
    DIRECTOR

    =END CREDITS=
For your end credits, just credit anyone, for anything they did. You can put the cast or the crew first, but remember, if you put the crew first, and the cast in between, more crew usually follows.

Add anyone that got involved but didn't really do anything in your SPECIAL THANKS TO part at the end of the credits. For example, the guy that said "Yes, you can film on my land", thank him, or the company that sold you your on-location snacks etc lol.

I wouldn't go for any start Credits, you look too egotistical.

Well.. err, that's my opinion. Just get to the point.

    Hey there.

    "A (INSERT EGO HERE) FILM"

    The most selfish credit ever.

I could understand say someone like Robert Rodriguez giving himself that credit. I mean he writes/Directs/shoots/edits/composes/ he does the lot But...

    "A Brett Ratner Film"

    PAH... My *ss.

    Despin out.

I strongly disagree. It's not egotistical if you did all the work. WIth our shorts, I usually end up directing, writing, DOPing, editing, making the music and getting the lifts arranged and stuff. I haven't credited one to myself tho at the start, but I still don't think it would be "egocentric" if I did.

If you created a cure for cancer, I'm sure you'd want YOUR name to be behind it, not the crew from Deadlights.

Want to make it professional? First of all fire the director, then get about 12 writers to work on the script and only credit 2, list six producers and misspell the lead actors names....

seriously though....if its basically a one man job just do "A XYZ Film"...
